Services

Juneau Youth Services serves our community through a wide variety of programs.

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Intake and Assessment Center

The doorway to the JYS program system. This is where many clients first get started. If you are ready to make the first step towards a better future for you, a youth, and their families, let’s get started.

Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC)

Are you interested in becoming a foster parent? There are so many special kids out there looking for a hero. If that sounds like you, we’ll provide all the resources you need.

Chemical Dependency Program

We help kick bad – and sometimes debilitating – habits. From group counseling to individual treatment, we help youth 18 years and younger seek liberation from drugs and alcohol.

Family Outpatient Program

We help families find hope. Our individual and family therapy unites loved ones in achieving more together.

School-Based Services (SBS)

We help students thrive in a classroom setting. If you have a child or know one in need of counseling, structure, and assistance, SBS could be for you.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS

Cornerstone Emergency Shelter

We provide shelter for homeless youth and runaways. Whether a youth needs our help and support for a few hours or several weeks, we have him or her covered.

Montana Creek (Co-ed 12 to 18)

One of our largest residential programs. Youth with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency issues are provided comprehensive care that incorporates a strengths-based focus within a multicultural approach.

Transitional Living Program (Co-ed 16-21)

Some youth need the skills and resources to live independently. Our TLP program helps kids and young adults ages 16-21 successfully successfully transition into “adult life.”

Lighthouse (Girls 12-18)

Our girls program. Lighthouse residents have battled substance/physical abuse, neglect, FASD, and more. The 6-bed program helps them utilize their strengths in seeing a brighter future.

Miller House (Co-ed 12-18)

A 15-bed, coed program for those with emotional and behavioral disorders. Behavioral rehabilitation and mental health treatment are provided.

Wallington House (Boys 12-18)

When a youth is adjudicated with a sexual offense, our 6-bed Wallington House offers treatment and relapse prevention techniques.
