Behavior Health Associate I, II, III

Behavioral Health Associate I is the entry level position of staff providing direct care and supervision of youth in a residential program.  This position is responsible for ensuring a positive and safe environment and implementing the  strength-based treatment and behavioral interventions according to the Teaching Family Model and the individualized treatment plans for youth experiencing significant emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Starting rate of pay is $21, DOE.

We are a 24/7, 365 day a year operation.  Shifts may vary: days, swings, grave, weekends and holidays.

Our entry-level position, behavioral health associate, provides skills development for youth and families in residential and community-based programs. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 21 years old. Pay rates start at $21 an hour. Behavioral health associates receive support in becoming Teaching Family certified practitioners, allowing them further opportunities to obtain leadership positions at JYS.

 

If you hold a bachelor’s degree, JYS has opportunities for careers in administration, case management and program leadership. Additionally, we have licensed clinicians and board-certified supervisors ready to supervise students seeking an internship for a master’s program in counseling, social work or related field.
