JYS is excited to be joining the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. The acquisition will allow both organizations to extend their reach to provide much-needed support to Alaska families.
SEARHC is the largest Native-run healthcare organization in the U.S. It was established in 1975. As an independent nonprofit health consortium, SEARHC provides health-related services across 27 communities throughout Southeast Alaska.
In recent years, JYS like many other nonprofits have struggled to keep up business operations. Between regulatory and administrative burdens, higher operating and infrastructure expenses, the COVID pandemic challenges, and an extremely tight labor market, it hasn’t been easy to continue our mission. This acquisition will allow JYS to serve Alaskans at the highest possible level.
We look forward to working with our partners at SEARHC.
